Thieves target cars in Stradbally

STRADBALLY residents are being warned to be extra vigilant, after cars were targeted in a housing estate last night.
One car was ransacked and a wallet was stolen from another vehicle, while they were parked in Brockley Park overnight on Sunday.
A warning posted on the Stradbally Noticeboard online community page today urged everyone in the area to be vigilant.
The notice said that two cars were ‘messed with’ and a wallet was taken from one. Another car was ransacked but nothing of value was taken.
People should ensure that all vehicles are locked and that no valuables are left inside, particularly overnight. Any incidents can be reported to gardaí at 057 8674100.
