Three men due to appear at Portlaoise Court this afternoon over alleged €14 Mountmellick drug find

Three men are due to appear before Portlaoise District Court this afternoon where they are expected to face charges relating to the alleged €14miilion drug find in Mountmellick earlier this week.
The three men were arrested following a major garda operation following months of planning by officers involved.
It is believed the men will be brought to court under a heavy garda escort with security expected to be tight around the courthouse.
The Dublin Crime Response (DCR) Team is continuing the investigation following the seizure of drugs in Mountmellick, Co Laois, and a number of other locations on Tuesday.
Approximately 182kg of cocaine and 4kg of cannabis herb was seized. A full report of this afternoon's hearing at Portlaoise District Court to follow.
