Top class Laois student wins TUS award

A BRILLIANT Laois student has received an award for academic excellence from TUS Athlone.
Dylan Thomas from Tinnahinch, Rosenallis is in the third year of a B Sc. (Hons) degree in Software Design with artificial intelligence for Cloud computing.
His top class record was acknowledged with an award that was presented at the college on Thursday 27 February.
The Athlone college is among seven campuses in four counties that are part of TUS (Technological University of the Shannon), with over 15,000 students in the midlands and mid-west.
