Portlaoise set to flex championship muscle against Clonaslee/St Manman’s

Portlaoise begin another championship campaign carrying the weight of expectation that always follows the county's most decorated club, while Clonaslee/St Manman’s arrive looking to build on the resilience that kept them in the senior grade last season.

Portlaoise remain one of the traditional powers in Laois football and will view qualification from their group as the minimum target. The Town will expect to control possession and a fast start will be important.
