€50 Man Utd v Leeds tickets being offered online for €450
Tickets for next week's sold-out Manchester United v Leeds United friendly at Croke Park are being resold online for up to nine times their original price.
The game, which is on next Wednesday, cost €50 for adults and €25 for children when tickets went on sale earlier this year.
However, some secondary sites are now selling them for as much as €450. That's despite anti-ticket touting legislation being in place.
The listings have prompted fresh questions over the enforcement of Ireland's anti-ticket touting legislation.
Fine Gael TD John Clendennen had called on An Garda Síochána and the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) to take action.
"I'm frustrated myself, and that's why I'm highlighting it," he said on Newstalk radio on Friday morning.
He questioned whether further measures or resources were required. "It's not acceptable just to let this pass by and say, 'oh there's another event, and there were a few tickets sold above face value.
"We need to get to the nub of this."
