Three men (30s) arrested in connection with assaults in Co Cavan

Three men have been arrested as part of an investigation into assaults in Co Cavan in the last week.
In the early hours of Sunday, August 2nd, two men were assaulted at Cullyleenan, Ballyconnell.
Two men in their 30s were brought to Cavan General Hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
On Wednesday at 5.20 pm, a man aged in his 30s was assaulted outside a premises.
He was treated for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries at Cavan General Hospital.
On Friday, gardaí searched four addresses, where three men were arrested.
The men, all in their 30s, are being detained at stations in the Garda North Western Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
