GAA: Cork score six goals to defeat Clare

In a repeat of the 2024 All-Ireland final, Cork defeated Clare 6-20 to 0-23 as the All-Ireland champions relegation fears continue.
Three first-half goals from Shane Barrett, Declan Dalton and Brian Hayes put Cork in control as they took a 3-05 to 0-9 lead into the interval.
Cork showed no mercy in the second half, with two goals from Brian Hayes and another from Dalton piling further misery on Clare.
The Banner County's day got worse when Peter Duggan was sent off in the 51st minute.
Tipperary beat Kilkenny 2-25 to 1-19 at Nowlan Park in 1A of the National Hurling League.
Craig Morgan and Oisin O'Donoghue scored the first-half goals for Tipperary, as they took a 2-13 to 1-10 lead at half-time. Kilkenny's goal came from Gearóid Dunne in the 33rd minute.
Darragh McCarthy scored 12 points for Tipperary as they moved up to first place in the league.
Kilkenny finished the game with 12 men while Tipp also had a man sent off.
At the start of a bad-tempered second half, Alan Tynan was sent off for Tipperary, before David Blanchfield saw a red card for Kilkenny just two minutes later.
Two yellow cards in three minutes for Mikey Carey saw him sent off, before Jordan Molloy became the third person to be sent off for the Cats.
Waterford look set to join Offaly in Division 1A next season.
The Deise smashed Westmeath by 7-34 to 24 points to put their promotion chances in their own hands.
Elsewhere Antrim strolled to a 4-22 to 21-point win over Laois.
