At Tallaght Stadium, Shamrock Rovers beat Shelbourne 3-2, with Graham Burke scoring his hundredth goal for the Hoops.

It comes as there was a full fixture schedule in the SSE Airticity Men's Premier Division on Monday.

St Patrick’s Athletic were defeated 2-0 by Dundalk - despite the loss, they remain top of the league.

Bohemians remain unbeaten after a 1-1 draw with Waterford at Dalymount Park. A John Mahon goal had the visitors in front, but a Colm Whelan penalty pegged them back.

Elsewhere, Galway United overturned a two-goal deficit to beat Drogheda United 3-2.

It finished a 0-0 stalemate between Sligo Rovers and Derry City.


In the First Division, leaders Cork City bagged two late goals against Kerry to win 4-2.

More than five-thousand fans attended the game at Turner's Cross, making it the biggest First Division crowd of the season.

Cobh Ramblers beat strugglers Treaty United 4-0 in their all-Munster clash, with Dylan McGlade picking up a first-half hat-trick there.

Bray Wanderers and Finn Harps couldn't be seperated as they played out a 2-2 draw.

While in the Midlands derby, Athlone Town saw out a comfortable 2-0 victory over Longford.

And it finished all square between UCD and Wexford, with neither side finding the net there.
