The Irish Times reports that almost 300 asylum seekers who claimed they were children were subsequently deemed to be adults over the past four years, the child and family agency has said.

The Irish Examiner reports that parents at a school for autistic children with complex needs have called for a full investigation after learning the principal at their children’s school was accused by a former student of emotional and physical abuse in a previous setting.

The Echo reports a Cork sports club has vowed to fight the proposed route for the Cork Luas, which will run through its grounds, “to the end”.
