American Pie star Shannon Elizabeth has joined the ranks of celebrities on the adult content site OnlyFans.

The actress, 52, who shot to fame as foreign exchange student Nadia in the 1999 raunchy teen comedy, said she will show “the side of me that doesn’t make it into movies”.

Other high-profile stars who have used the platform include singers Lily Allen and Kate Nash, and actresses Sarah Jayne Dunn, Amanda Bynes and Jessie Cave.

Elizabeth shared a link to her OnlyFans on Instagram, tagging it “More of me”, scored to the song American Pie by Don McLean, a reference to the film that made her a star.

Her bio on the adult site describes her as “Actress. Storyteller. A little mischievous.”

She added: “Welcome to my little corner of the internet!

“Here you’ll find the side of me that doesn’t make it into movies — more playful, spontaneous, and completely unscripted.

“Think: behind-the-scenes moments, exclusive photos & videos, candid glimpses of my life, chatting with me directly.

“If you’ve ever been curious what I’m really like…You’re about to find out.”

After her breakout role in American Pie, Elizabeth went on to star in a number of films in the early 2000s, including Scary Movie, Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back, Thirteen Ghosts and Love Actually.

She is not the first celebrity to use the site for income. In 2024 Allen revealed she had started uploading photos of her feet to the adult subscription site OnlyFans, but suggested she does not use the website as much anymore.

Foundations singer Nash previously told MPs she sold pictures of her bottom on the site in order to fund her tour.

Former Hollyoaks star Dunn left the Channel 4 soap opera in 2021 following a dispute with producers over her personal OnlyFans account.

At the time, the actress said she had made the account to “take back some power and control” over her images.

Child star Bynes has also used the site but clarified she “won’t be posting any sleazy content”, instead using the platform to be able to send direct messages to fans.

Harry Potter actress Cave joined OnlyFans as a “long hair specialist”.

Her bio says: “I do NICHE HAIR CONTENT which you may well quite like….. I hope it surprises you at the very least.”
