WITH three number one songs and a chart-topping album in the official Irish charts, Mountmellick folk singer Emer Dunne has been making a name on the Irish music scene.

Fergus passed suddenly from this life on Friday 4 October  2024. He was born in Mountmellick, Co. Laois. He lived there until his early teens and then lived in Portlaoise for the next 40 years. He has lived in Kerry for the past 21 years.
