Outstanding Results at Mountrath Community School

Mountrath Community School is celebrating outstanding Leaving Certificate results this year, with five students achieving over 600 points and almost quarter of the cohort scoring more than 550 points. The entire school community is immensely proud of their hard work, dedication, and success.

Special congratulations go to Conor Mortimer, Amy Moore, Pete Culleton, Laura Kutkina who all received over 600 points in their Leaving Cert Exams and Rory Tully, who achieved the top score of 625 points. Their results are a testament not only to their commitment and perseverance, but also to the support and encouragement of their teachers, families, and peers.

Conor, who attended Camross NS; Pete, from Na Carraige NS, Mountmellick; Amy, from Ballyfin NS; Rory, who studied at Naomh Eoin NS, Killenard; and Laura, a past student of Coláiste Mhuire, Johnstown, are all now setting their sights firmly on the future. Each of these students already has clear ambitions: Conor hopes to study Veterinary Medicine at UCD, while Amy has her sights set on Pharmacy in Galway. Pete plans to pursue Engineering, also in Galway, while Laura will combine her talents in both Linguistics and Mathematics at UCD. Rory is looking forward to a career in Actuarial Studies, also at UCD.

Principal Kathryn O’Brien and the entire school community is delighted with every one of their student's achievements and extends warm congratulations to all students who sat their exams this year. Their future is undoubtedly bright for each one of them.
