A teenager has been killed in a crash between a scrambler bike and a lorry in Co Tyrone.

Connor Magee Campbell, 16, was killed in the incident that occurred at about 8.15pm on Thursday in the Derryloughan Road area of Coalisland, police said.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended, alongside Northern Ireland Ambulance Service colleagues, and medical treatment was provided at the scene.

“The 16-year-old, who has been named as Connor Magee Campbell from the Clonoe area, was taken onward to hospital where he sadly later died from his injuries.”

Inquiries are ongoing, and the police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident to come forward.
