The late Josephine (Josie) Flynn (née Lakes)
Josephine, better known as Josie Flynn (née Lakes), Vicarstown and formerly of Old Leighlin, Co. Carlow died unexpectedly on Monday 24 March at her residence in her 95th year.
Josie was predeceased by her husband William (Bill), her parents John and Bridget, brothers Thomas and Johnny, sister Mary Farrell and her niece Josephine Coleman.
Deeply regretted by her sister, Sr. Beatrice Lakes, Brigidine Convent, Tullow, Co. Carlow, nieces Bernadette, Catherine, Beatrice, Carmel, Josie (UK), nephews William (USA), John (USA), Jonnie (UK), Liam (UK) and Vincent (UK), grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Reposing at her residence on Wednesday 26 March from 2pm with Recital of the Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 27 March in the Church of the Assumption, Vicarstown at 11am. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery, Stradbally.
