Julia O’Connell passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in her 90th year on Friday 7 February. Julia was predeceased by her husband Terry and daughter Mary Teresa, brothers Pat and John and Son in law John Kent.

STAFF from the racing yards of James Fahey, Jim Bolger, Charles Byrnes, Gavin Cromwell, Gordon Elliott, Noel Meade and Ross O’Sullivan have topped Horse Racing Ireland’s (HRI) 2024 Irish Thoroughbred Welfare Council best-turned out league.

Tess (Teresa) Marren (née O’Connell), Raheny, Dublin and formerly of Vicarstown passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday 15 November. Teresa was predeceased by her loving husband Peter.

The successful groups each received a share of the total funding of €229,213
