Gardaí investigating assault and false imprisonment of man in Co Galway

Gardaí are investigating the false imprisonment and assault of a man in Ardrahan, Co Galway on Saturday.

At around 2:00pm, gardaí received a report of the discovery of a man with injuries at Castletaylor North, Mannihard.

The man, in his 40s, was brought by ambulance to University Hospital Galway for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.

Anyone who was in the areas of Manninard and Castletaylor, Ardrahan, between 12:30pm and 2:00pm on 29th August and has video camera footage (including dash-cam) is asked to make it available to gardaí.
