The Heath Golf Club Captains John Moran and Marion Mills with Junior Captain Emily Feehan and President Tom Tyrell
THE 2026 golfing season at Heath Golf Club was officially launched on Sunday with the annual Captains’ Drive-In, a well-attended and lively occasion enjoyed by members and guests.
Captains John Moran and Marion Mills made a memorable entrance alongside Junior Captain Emily Feehan, arriving in style proudly dressed in their respective county colours.
Marion represented Carlow, John flew the colours of Kildare, while Emily showcased the blue and white of Laois, adding a colourful and spirited touch to the ceremony.

Following their arrival, the three captains each took their ceremonial drives to officially mark the beginning of the new season at the club. Members gathered to watch the traditional tee shots and to wish the captains every success for the year ahead.
Members then took to the course for a 9-hole scramble, which was played in great spirit and provided an enjoyable start to the golfing calendar. The event set a positive tone for the season, with plenty of camaraderie among members as they look forward to another successful year of golf at The Heath Golf Club.
