The 2026 John West Féile na nGael national finals for Under-15 hurling and camogie, which were launched last Wednesday in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise, are scheduled for Saturday 20 June 20 with top-tier divisions hosted jointly across Laois and Carlow.

Teams in other divisions will take part in regional finals at various host venues nationwide on the same date.

The Under-15 tournament celebrates community and inclusivity, bringing together thousands of young hurlers and camogie players from clubs all over Ireland.

Leading up to the national finals, local county qualification tournaments and preliminary divisions were played throughout April and May. For example, a dedicated block of Féile games in your local county of Laois took place earlier in the spring.

In 2025, over 400 club sides, comprising 9,000 players, competed in the finals alone, across numerous venues nationwide, following qualification at county level.

2026 sees the creation of additional GAA Féile competitions designed specifically to support clubs experiencing demographic challenges. By introducing tailored Féile structures, the GAA aims to maintain the spirit of inclusion, development, and enjoyment that lies at the heart of Féile competitions to ensure that young players in smaller clubs continue to enjoy meaningful participation in Féile activities.
