Mary McDonald (née Guilfoyle), Clonan, Roscrea, Co Tipperary and formerly of Garranbawn, Camross, Laois died peacefully on 20 December, in the wonderful care of Kilminchy Lodge Nursing Home, Portlaoise.

The death has occurred of Moirty Delaney Woodview, Lacca, Camross, Laois. Moirty passed away unexpectedly on the 19th December 2025, at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.

Theresa Greene (née Harding), Maryborough Village, Portlaoise, Laois died peacefully on 19 December, surrounded by her loving family, in the tender care of the staff of ICU at St James’s Hosital. Predeceased by her son William.

Noel Conlan, Station Court, Portarlington, Laois and formerly of Oghill, Monasterevan, Co Kildare died peacefully on 19 December, surrounded by his loving family, while in the excellent care of the staff of Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally.

Senan (Sonny) Phelan, Rosebank Bungalow, Crubbin, Ballyroan, Laois died peacefully at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise on 18 December.

Elizabeth (Anna) Doyle (née Dowling) of 72 Pearse Road and formerly 55 St Fiacc’s Terrace, Graiguecullen, Laois/Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on 18 December at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Agnes (Aggie) Hogan, Larrigan, Clonaslee, Laois passed away peacefully on 17 December, in the exceptional care of the staff of the Laurel Suite, Birr Community Nursing Unit.

Phina Kavanagh (née Maher), Clonard, Kilbricken, Mountrath, Laois died peacefully at her home on 17 December, surrounded by her loving husband Pat and family. Predeceased by her parents Tim and Josie, brother Michael and sister Breda.
