Maureen Hanley, The Cottages, Muiríosa Foundation, Stradbally and Tuam, Galway passed away peacefully in the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise on Saturday 22 March.

Kevin Higgins, Ballyroan House, Main Street, Ballyroan and formerly of Kildare and Dublin passed away peacefully on Friday 21 March at Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.

James Griffin, Davitt Road, Mountmellick and formerly of Ballynane, Annascaul, Co. Kerry died peacefully, and in the loving care of his heartbroken family on Thursday 20 March. James was predeceased by his sisters Agnes and Kay.

Betty Moore (née Hanlon), Ballycleary, Castletown passed away peacefully on Friday 21 March in the loving care of the ICU staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise surrounded by her loving family.

Sheila Davis, Gurteen, Rosenallis, Laois died peacefully and in the loving care of her heartbroken family on 21 March. Dearly loved mother to John and mother in-law to Jacinta. Beloved sister to Philomena and grandmother to Paul, Caroline and Adele.

Philly White, Quigley Park, Rathdowney, Co Laois and recently Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny died peacefully on 19 March, surrounded by his family, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny.

The death occurred of Peter Murray, Kilminchy and late of Bridge Street, Portlaoise on 17 March. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Kay, sons Kevin and Conor and brother Pat.

Elizabeth (Lill) Boyhan, Currawn, Aghaboe, Ballacolla, LaoisLill passed away peacefully in her 95th year on 19 March, surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny.

Brian Lynch, 32 Chapel Street, Mountmellick died on 19 March in his 95th year.
