For the first time since 2010, the Leinster final will not feature Dublin, with Meath and Louth in the final this Sunday.

After years of dominance by Dublin, Meath's shock semi-final win saw them take their place in Croke Park, who last won a Leinster title in a controversial win over South in 2010.

For Louth, their progress has been clear to see in the last few years under Ger Brennan.

This Sunday will be their third Leinster final in a row, as they gave Dublin everything they had in the 2024 final.

Having reached the All-Ireland quarter-finals last season, it is a special time for Louth football.

In the Ulster final, Donegal are aiming for another Ulster final when they take on Armagh on Saturday.

Armagh, the All-Ireland champions, have lost the last two Ulster finals on penalties, as the provincial title as escaped them by the narrowest of margins.

Both counties will back themselves to be still in contention in the summer, but all focus will be on this weekend.

Elsewhere, the Tailteann Cup gets underway, with Sligo v Tipperary and Westmeath v Antrim among the opening fixtures.

In hurling, Glaway face Wexford in a vital game in the Leinster championship, with both sides on one win each from their opening two games, and will have Dublin and Kilkenny in their sights further up the table.

In Camogie, All-Ireland champions Cork will be aiming for another Munster title when they clash with Waterford in the final.
