Celebrity chef Edward Hayden to cook up a storm at Abbeyleix Golf Club's Annual Fundraiser

Abbeyleix Golf Club has announced its main annual fundraising event for 2026.
The evening will feature a special cookery demonstration by well-known Irish chef and television personality Edward Hayden.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 24 November 2026, at 7.30pm in Abbeyleix Manor Hotel.
This much-anticipated evening is an important fundraising occasion for Abbeyleix Golf Club, with a portion of the proceeds also being donated to DEBRA Ireland, the charity supporting people and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare genetic skin condition.
The charitable element has a particularly special local connection through Emma Fogarty, who hails from Abbeyleix. Emma's parents are longstanding and dedicated members of Abbeyleix Golf Club, and the club is proud to support this cause and show its support for Emma and her family.
Edward Hayden, renowned for his passion for food, engaging personality and culinary expertise, will entertain guests with a live cookery demonstration, sharing practical tips, inspiration and ideas that can be recreated at home.
The evening promises to combine great food, entertainment and community spirit, while supporting both the club and a very worthwhile local cause.
