A WOMAN who was caught speeding at 181kph in Laois has kept her driving licence, after paying €5,000 to a hospice.

Joyce Seale (née Wheeler), Grennan, Attanagh, Laois and formerly of Pallasgreen, Co Limerick passed away peacefully on 27 July at Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Des.

Currently, Jack and Jill supports eight children in Laois and has supported 53 children in the county since the charity was founded in 1997.
