THE Laois Hurlers Golfing Society Captain’s prize takes place on Saturday next in Rathdowney Golf Club. Always the highlight of their golfing year, one could say it is primarily a social event with a great opportunity to play golf - of any standard.

THE Heath Golf Club ladies were recently crowned the Women’s Revive Active Four-Ball Leinster champions This year the Revive Active Women’s Fourball reverted to a regional competition and 243 clubs signed up to take part in 2024.

THE Heath Golf Club held a Charity Weekend of golf for Laois Hospice back in September. As a result of this generous gesture a cheque for €2,500 was presented to Mary Finlay, Honorary Treasurer of Laois Hospice recently.
