Finbar Heneghan, Collier's Lane, Portlaoise and formerly of Bowgate Street, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo passed away very peacefully in the care of Kilminchy Lodge Nursing Home, Portlaoise on Tuesday morning 10 December surrounded by his loving family.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 15-year-old Nicole Doyle, who was reported missing in Portlaoise, County Laois on Sunday evening, 8th December 2024.

When last seen, Nicole was wearing a black hooded jumper, black leggings, a red winter coat and black runners.

The public row involves Youth Darts School Ireland which is based in Portlaoise, the Irish National Darts Organisation and Laois County Darts.

Tony Curran, Liogard, Portlaoise and formerly Dungarvan, Co. Waterford died peacefully on Thursday 5 December surrounded by his loving family.  Tony was predeceased by his recently deceased son-in-law Damien Doheny.

THE 30-year American accused of murdering his father in the five star hotel in Laois was further remanded in custody when he appeared by video link at Portlaoise District Court earlier this morning.

“The problem is the timeframe and the bird nesting season," said the councillor.
